I recieved an item in the post yesterday but it had NO contact info, NO sender info & NO indication where the item came from.
It contained what appears to be some kind of weird looking light globes. I didn't order these. I'm guessing whoever did order them probably has the item I ordered, whatever that was. I'm quite happy to forward them on if the sender or buyer read this.

It arrived in a grey plastic satchel from China. Thats all I can get from this. I'll wait & see what happens. Cheers all for your positive input.

I am so impressed with your honesty and the effort you are making to get the items back to the seller.
Some dishonest people would keep the items and try and their money back by claiming not received.

I had a similar experience - an item arrived from China that I hadn't ordered.
At that time I was expecting approx 10 parcels from various overseas addresses (but not China). Then I remembered a seller in Canada whom I'd bought stuff from before. Her stuff was sent from China last time. Sure enough I looked at her details...and there was the mystery object I didn't buy. ๐
I contacted her and all was sorted out - I got the item I did buy, she included an extra little gift for my trouble.....and she didn't want the wrong item back. It's still in its box though - I don't really need a toy plastic plant in a pot where the leaves move to sounds.....or something like that. The instructions are in Japanese and the toy takes FOUR batteries. ๐

Sorry to resurrect this thread BUT I've just had exact same thing or similar happen !!
Just received pair of lace socks from Hong Kong-has Customs Declaration BUT says jewelry beads-sic-( NEVER EVER bought anything like those either)-have NEVER ordered anything remotely like this, most definitely did NOT buy anywhere near the date posted, have looked at sellers store they have given details for on printed note inside & NEVER EVER bought from them.
TINY black plastic envelope thing,no return address-says value $1 USD.
Seriously weird IMO unless someone is having a lend of me ??

It's unusual for sellers from China not to put their return address on . Did someone buy it for you as a surprise gift ?
I get a few of those from rellies and by the time I've figured it out they go " oh yeah that's from me , forgot all about that" ๐

Don't you just love the contents descriptions on parcels from China! ๐
Label: electronic parts
Actual Contents: dolls clothes
Label: computer components
Actual Contents: small plastic craft containers
And those are just the ones I remember.

:^O:^O
You'll just have to make a Sock Monkey from the weird socks and send it back to the sender :^O
Many of the sellers from China react to messages that way , I think they are so scared of Neg feedback that their immediate response is to 'refund' .
