I have purchased a $100 ebay voucher through groupon when I purchased items it only put one though for $5.89 groupon now advises that I have lost the other $95 this is just not lawful to keep that amount. Can you advise if you will allow a furhter purchase

But what about the statement that at the end of the promotion period any unused credit will be forfeited.
How does that make any sense if you have already made one purchase but not used the full amount.
I think you could make a case for being able to use the voucher any time during the promotion period for any amount up to the full value....as you can do with the ordinary e-vouchers.
I buy a $100 voucher every week...it gradually adds up and I have a nice little amount left over to spend at Christmas.

Their T & C's certainly are at odds with each other.
The e-voucher I bought through Groupon for Woolies, I forfeited $11 -
which coincidentally is the amount I saved in buying it.
Woolies said that all of their e vouchers are a one use only. The balance will be forfeited.
So how do they work for you and not me?
A simple difference between e-gift cards and e-vouchers?
I thought they were the same thing

I buy mine from the NRMA and they are called e-gift cards. I get $100 at a time but rarely spend it in one go.
I have $3.89 left on one from a few weeks ago....my OH forgot to use it before he started the next card. I have a full 12 months to use it.
Maybe that is the difference.....what I get are the normal gift cards that anyone can buy and get 12 months to use it.
Those ebay ones are only active for a limited time.
Whatever the reason I can't use them anyway....I am unlikely to spend $150 in one go and I don't shop on line.

When you buy from Groupon, it's Woolies that issue the voucher, not Groupon
It's Woolies T & C's

Yep, same with my NRMA/Woolworths e-gift cards. They are issued by Woolworths....if there is a query you contact Woolworths direct.

That's terrible. I feel your pain. Groupon can be blase about terms & conditions, I have given them a blast in the past for changing some after I had made a purchase & they did offer me a refund.
Such a pity you didn't buy something bigger but it seems you may have done your dough if the conditions stipulated you had to spend it all in one go.
Stawka, I only get one groupon email a day or a week or whatever.
but I tell you what company to watch out for. Brasnthings.
I ordered an item there as a gift, paid online & arranged for it to go to a local store for pick up. It arrived at the store late last Thursday and I have been getting an email every hour on the hour reminding me exactly how many days I have left to pick up the item.
Apart from the fact they were probably shut for quite a few days over easter, does anyone really need emails at midnight, 1am, 2am etc? I don't have dementia, one email a day would suffice.

Springy, the terms of the groupon voucher are ebay's terms. Like all ebay vouchers, offers etc they stipulate that you have to use them in one transaction or lose the balance.
It appears that the OP did not use the Cart to combine or wait for a combined invoice but went ahead and paid....as a consequence she has only paid for one item and lost the balance of the value.
Brasnthings sounds like the ebay click and collect at Woolworths. Once the item arrives at Woolworths ebay sends an email to give you the code....and continued to "remind" me every day for the next 3 days then twice a day, then 4 times....right up to the time I collected it.

I've had 23 from brasnthings today. Next one due in about 57 minutes. Just in case they think I might forget, I suppose.
