I've left negative feedback for a seller. The feedback had NO inappropriate comments and I commented that the negative feedback was based on my honest negative experience.
The seller requested a 'revision' but I declined, the seller then appealed to eBay and eBay removed my negative comments and negative rating.
eBay never informed me that they even removed my feedback for a seller?
eBay have said my negative feedback to the seller was removed on an internal decision?
eBay cannot give me a link to the relevant guidelines that I contravened
I've not breached any written guidelines and I can find NO reference to eBay having internal decisions that relate to my comments?
I'm at a loss and after messaging eBay and talking with numerous people (who all seem to have made the 1 decision?) I'm now unable to continue messaging because the original message/email address is no longer active.
I'm at a loss as to what policy I contravened to have my feedback removed?

What exactly was the comment? There are all sorts of things you can and cannot say, and without knowing, it's hard to answer.

If it was another "Dropped in price immediately after eBay 10% off sale finished, not good practice", I don't blame them.
This has nothing to do with the transaction you were commenting on. You are supposed to leave feedback based on your experience with the seller, not what the seller did with their own item after your transaction was complete.
Yes it's disappointing to buy something and have the price drop down soon after, but just about everyone has had this happen to them at some point. Hardly grounds for negative feedback.
So if it was something like that, I'm not surprised it was removed.

Did you mention a dispute? cos that's a no-no

Given that most of the bad feedback they've left makes mention of a dispute, I'd say there's a high chance that's the reason.
As for having bad feedback removed, sometimes you just have to ask nicely, like I did 😄

As stawka and tippy stated, you can't mention disputes in your comments.
I had a look at some of your feedback and noticed that when you give a neutral or negative, quite often you do mention a dispute, as in for eg
refund received but only after Paypal dispute.
You've done it several times & I guess nothing has ever happened before so you have gone on thinking it is okay. Those other comments haven't been taken down because the other sellers never bothered to complain to ebay, so ebay didn't know & so didn't do anything about it.
What has probably happened here is you have struck a seller who does know their rights.
Think of it this way, you're probably lucky you got away with it most of the other times.
Mind you, I don't see anything wrong in any of your feedback, but it's ebay making the rules.

i have exactly same problemie have asked them numerous times to show me the actual page where it says that because i appealed because the item was not as described - basically the item doesnt work and they found in the sellers favour ( i still cant figure it out why they sided with her ) th say i cant put negative feedback saying the item was not as described so they deleted it didnt tell me and now i cant revise it or put on a new feedback i am going to keep emailing them till hey tell me where it says it

also it looks like the seller has 100 % rating also she says she has sold thousands of items but she only has 194 feedback as a seller - something doesnt add up
There is nothing to say that the seller only has one selling account.
She could have sold hundreds of the item on another account.

very true - how would i find that out ? - Ebay are being ridiculous saying that because i lost the case i cant say the item was defective - so they deleted my feedback without advising me ND NOW WILL NOT LET ME PUT ON A NEW FEEDBACK EVEN THOUGH IT SAYS I NEED TO LEAVE FEEDBACK (oooops sorry for the caps ) and they will not show me or tell me where it is actually written this i their last interesting piece of whatever"........ feedback contradicted with the transaction ... " and this piece of wonder.ful english "Please know that this is out of the seller control because your feedback is a remorse." duh i have no idea
