i won an item on the auction and the money has been taken out of my bank account but the item hasnt been sent...have emailed seller and havent heard anything back...what can i do

if you used your bank ac balance to pay and not a credit card, the seller wont even get the money (even tho it is out of your ac) for a week, as it has to go thru bank channels just like a paper cheque, it's called an echque thru paypal
so allow a week for your funds to ''clear'' into the sellers paypal ac and then a couple of days for him to post.
if you want 'immediate' payment into the sellers paypal you need to fund payments thru paypal with a c/card or funds held in YOUR paypal ac
dont panic just yet

I used paypal like i always do and the other sellers i bought off the same day posted the items the next day...this seller hasnt even replied to my email

Presuming it was the Roxy Maxi Dress (only a couple of items showing in your bid history ending on the 20th, and you've left FB for the other one), the seller posted the listing with eBay Mobile, and has a handling time of 3 days. Agree with cats that it's not good for a seller to ignore messages, but they look like an occasional casual seller who may only access eBay via their phone or mobile device when necessary, so perhaps have only checked for payment / address and not accessed eBay or received notice of the message.
I would give it a few more days yet before panicking (I recently bought an item that took two weeks to arrive after the seller sent it, so often it is Australia Post that don't make good one eBay's estimated delivery times rather than the seller).

It was Reebok pants...i got the Roxy dress yesterday and i purchased the pants on the 20th or the 19th for $15.50 and as i said the seller hasnt even answered my email when i requested seller let me know what day item will be posted to me

Ah, ok - scratch most of what I said in my previous post - the only thing that remains the same is the 3-day handling time, but the seller seems to have gone to a decent amount of effort with the listing and even states they'll answer "all queries".
I still think it's a little early for something like a dispute, as a 3-day handling time includes business days only, which means the seller has stated they will post it by Wenesday (yesterday), so I would allow for that plus average delivery times. Their lack of communication wouldn't have me giving them much past that, though.

I would go straight to a PayPal dispute (for Item Not Received). Have you only sent one message? Generally, that should (or would) be enough, but occasionally there are problems with the messaging system and it won't go through even if it says the message was sent.
If you have sent more than one message (making it more likely that at least one got through), and given that there has been no response plus it would appear they've used eBay since the message(s) were sent, I wouldn't have much patience beyond waiting the average delivery time.

No problem, I hope it works out (if not and you need to open a dispute, don't hesitate to ask any questions about the dispute process - there should always be someone around to help).
Thanks for the compliment on my items, too. ๐
