Hi good people.
I just bought and paid for a dvd based on the photograph as there
was almost no description ( apart from a few actors names ).
The photo says '4 disc set'. The description says nothing at all about the number of discs.
I have messaged the seller but no response yet.
If no comms and I receive a single disc should I complain about
'item not as described' ???
Yes I know that buyers should ask questions first but in my view the photo should be the description ( if there is no wording to the contrary in the main body of the listing ).
Any thoughts ?

Why go looking for trouble?:^O
I don't understand why you say the photo says 4 discs yet you are thinking you will only get 1 disc.
What is the seller's feedback like, do they make a habit of only sending 1 out of 4 discs?
Yes, the photo does form part of the description and when there is no written information then you should get whatever is in the photo (including plastic flowers or whatever props are used in the photo).

Not looking for trouble bump.
It's just that every other similar item listed is over $30.00
and this one is $4.99
Maybe he/she got them for a 'very' good price as there are over 150 still to be sold.
Feedback looks good but I would rather cancel the sale pre-posting if he/she has made a mistake.
The purchase was not made using this ID.

Give them till Monday to respond; if eBay is what they do for living, they may close the office on Friday night and not look at their messages until Monday.

lol
I keep forgetting that other people actually have lives.
Yes Monday will do for the seller to respond.

" Maybe he/she got them for a 'very' good price as there are over 150 still to be sold. "
Maybe they are illegal copies.

Was it a photo or a stock image? The price difference would have made me wary, and a stock image with no description would have had me messaging the seller before purchase, particularly if there were no item specifics as I see images in the gallery quite often that aren't the actual item for sale (eg limited, special or box set edition images only to find it's just a standard, single disc issue - some people seem to just google a title then grab the first image whether it matches what they're selling or not, some of the high volume sellers look like they just pull one image and use that across all variations of a title).

Well...I have messaged the seller.
I will message again just in case the first message didn't make it.
If he/she doesn't reply and the wrong item shows up on my doorstep then I most certainly won't be returning a $5.99 item at my own Registered Post expense.
Fingers crossed he/she has snapped up a great bulk buy deal.

A genuine factory made 4 DVD set for that price - is unlikely.

Certainly inclined to agree with you Deja_vu.
