Hello,
I purchased an item via ebay and the international shipping program, item was in Europe I am in Australia.
At the time of checkout I paid the import tax due to ebay. Now FedEx who delivered the package are chasing me for the same import fees. I showed them the receipt from the purchase showing the fees but they are refusing to accept it, it seems.
Is there an additional way to prove I have paid the fees and Ebay collected them?
Thanks,

Gosh, the issues with this horrific Pitney Bowes GSP seem to be never ending !! Actually this is the first that I have heard of this where extra fees are being perused by Fed Ex after purchase. I once was threatened by them or GSP (can't recall which now) to provide extra personal details. If I didn't, my items would be sent back. Thankfully with the other 3 or so times that I had involvement with GSP I didn't have to endure that again, and items were delivered straight to my P.O. box. Mind you on 2 occasions they were damaged. (poor re-packing at Pitney depot)
If you already have item in your hands then I guess a capture of your payment with the tax should be emailed. If you haven't received the item or they won't release it to you then a printout of the transaction with the tax waved in their face is what should be done.
Unless there's something you have missed or I haven't thought of then possibly your dealing with a representative who is making it up as they go. Or maybe they have erroneous info.

Maybe Pitney Bowes if they have indeed lifted their game regarding the process of the GSP.

I've had a few purchases from sellers using the GSP, and never have I had a request for extra import duty from carriers delivering items in Australia. All I can suggest in your case would be to email FEDEX with the evidence you have of the duties already being paid, if you don't and they send the item back to the seller you'll have a hard job getting your money back through an eBay claim.

Thanks for the replies.
I have the item fortunately, i shipped it to work and FedEx thought it was for work and released it and tried to charge them via their account. That took a while to clear up stating it was a personal import but now they are chasing me directly.
I have sent them copies of the Ebay invoice which shows the tax for the exact amount they are chasing me for, but for whatever reason they are choosing to ignore it and keep chasing me for it. I just wondered if there was a way to prove Ebay have paid it to whomever it needs to go to.

If you paid by Paypal that should show the total amount paid by you, it may even break it down to the tax component, that should be sufficient for them to see you've paid it.

Presuming it's Fedex Australia, they are registered with the Postal Industry Ombudsman and you can raise a complaint through them:

this is the receipt I keep sending to FedEx. It shows the tax £84.13 which is the exact amount they are chasing me for. Unsure if it’s FedEx Au but thanks for the link, I’ll lodge through there anyway

If they contact you again, I'd let them know that is your next course of action, these things can occasionally make such companies rethink their strategies.
