Is sniping against ebay rule?

does anyone know if sniping is against ebay rule? And does ebay know if one is using sniping site or software?

It's fine.

You can google different ones.

The one I use is Gixen which is linked in with ebay, same user name n password.

I only use it if I can't be at the computer when an auction finishes and so as not to give shill bids a chance.

Gixen bids in the last 5-6 secs.
