I have an item not received incident.
I have reported this to the seller
Tracking shows not received in transit.
Seller says have resent the item
Resent item not received either, no tracking on this one
Seller now says too late for refund
I smell a rat, I have been SCAMMED
Tried to report to EBay, their system wont allow me to report that item even though it is still in the order list.
Tried ebay help, goes around in never ending circles.
Ebay software prevents what should be a simple report.
Cant find another way to contact EBay to report this
The Scammers (A registered seller on EBay) know this and dont want to help
Ebay doesn't seem to want to help either.
Can anybody provide a simple email address to register this case with Ebay ?
Searched internet.
Cant find EBay Resolution centre link on EBay pages at all.
All details are there on the EBay order and Ebay communications
Is help available or do SCAMMERS that know how to SCAM buyers KNOW they cant be reported ??
A dissapointed honest buyer, now skeptical about EBay
Can anybody help to catch these SCAMMERS, Please ?

You are not going to like this but it is actually easy to report, but you only have 30 days from the estimated delivery date to report. Some disreputable sellers will try to drag things out past the 30 days. After that time there is no recourse, sorry. Next time don't let it drag on too long.
Check the eBay help pages here: https://www.ebay.com.au/help/buying/returns-items-not-received-refunds-buyers/get-help-item-hasnt-ar...

As cam says, you must use eBayโs MBG process within 30 days of the latest EDD (estimated delivery date). If you can no longer access the report option for the item, it almost certainly means you have allowed the seller to draw out the time beyond the MBG timeframe.
Money Back Guarantee help page
(All of the links and timeframes are in the link above.)
Hope is not lost, though.
You still have two possible options.
If you paid through PayPal, open a dispute through PayPalโs Buyer Protection. The timeframe allows buyers to open a dispute for up to 180 days from the date of the transaction.
If you didnโt use PayPal, that option isnโt available for you, of courseโฆ but if you funded the purchase with your debit or credit card, you can ask your card issuer/bank to make a chargeback. Timeframe varies between different banks and different cards, but may be as little as 1 month (shortest Iโve seen) or as long as 6 months.
In future, donโt faff around with the seller. Donโt accept replacement offer unless itโs from a large well-known Australian seller. Ask for full refund, through the MBG process, and if seller doesnโt issue the refund within 3 day, escalate the request to ask eBay to step in as soon as that option appears within the dispute (usually 3 days).
If you open a dispute, and the issue isnโt resolved, you only have 21 days to escalate - after which the dispute will close without being able to be reopened and without any refund option.
Good luck.

You were not scammed
You had the tools available to you to do something
Don't play along with the seller's games next time
All the power was in your hands

Hi Cam 2793
Thank you for your reply.
In these times of longer than usual wait times, this seller gave arrival times of 2 Months.
When this time expired I emailed the seller via EBay , they said they would resend the items.
No tracking on the second ? sending. Did it really get sent ??? Is this Fraud ???
The first tracking still shows in transit after some 5 Months !.
Further along 2 Months and the second item has not arrived.
EBay does not have a contact number or email that I can report this to.
I don't think I will use EBay again, it is simply not safe.
Kind Regards

Just to be safe, follow the rules for the MBG instead of doing your own thing and letting a dodgy seller string you along
Phoning eBay is not going to change that policy
All online sites will have rules and policies regarding items not arriving , it's not just eBay
It doesn't matter 'what the seller said' etc ect
You open an item not received dispute and follow through with it
Sending the seller messages is not opening a dispute
I doubt the second item got sent
More likely a dodgy seller saw you did not open a dispute for the first item, so knew they could just tell you it was sent, leaving it too late to do anything
eBay is all about the buyer and totally safe for buyers
But not when the buyer does not act

Hi sandy pebbles,
Thank you for your message.
Do you work for EBay, because they think the same BUT, here are the full details:
Order placed with, get this, 2 month wait time !
2 Month on, emailed via EBay to seller, asked to check at neighbours houses.
Then said will resend so wait another 2 months !
Initial tracking still says in transit 5 months on.
Wait another 2 months
Seller says too bad more than 30 daysoverdue, no refund !!
NB Original message says 60 days delivery !!!
That is a SCAM operation.
I can understand one parcel getting lost, but 2, come on !
Like you, EBay says TOO BAD, not wanting to deal again with a complay that does not want buyers to actually get what they have paid for and supporting SCAMMERS.
Where are the contact details to allow such a situation to be corrected, I can't find any.
Even though the order is still there not received with all comments and history I can't contact EBay at all.
If I use the complain process it does not recognise the said transaction so cant report it.
The AI simply goes around and around in circles until I repeat everything 3 times over still with no end in sight
Please, does anyone have a way to contact EBAY for a FRAUD report ?

No one here works for eBay.
Don't cherry pick messages to reply to.

Nobody replying here works for eBay
Nor did I say too bad
There are policies which apply to everyone, including you
You were given the tools by eBay which you made the choice not to use
I do not buy from scammer sellers, so I am not the one supporting scammer sellers
As a buyer ,I use disputes when required, which also means I am not supporting scammer sellers
Kindly stop posting false accusations
There is no reason you can't contact eBay
There was no reason you could not have opened an item not received dispute
Do not abuse and accuse other members for your inaction

Hmmm, in a way we do it's just that we're not employed by them or paid by them.
On the rare occasion when eBay reps do respond here, they have to show that they are eBay employees.
