I am finding it hard to return an item - because it has now been 'removed' -that is - the Item number is no longer valid.

Stalks, if you log into your Paypal account then scoll down to the bottom there you'll see the link to "policy updates", then click on "past policy updates". That one dates back to 15 july 2016.
But don't ask me where the actual policies are........................not gunna do everything for you young lady !!!!!!

If the OP did pick up from the seller I think they would have a hard job claiming not as described especially if it was a problem that could be seen on inspection. I would think it would have to be something like a counterfeit brand or similar or, if something stopped working straight away and for both they would need an official condition report

PJ, I don't think I've heard yet of a successful INAD dispute over a pickup item, I suspect it would (and should) be an uphill battle for the buyer.

Hi,
thank you padi*0409.
Am I correct, does that only apply to Gumtree,
or to Ebay as well?
Thanks again,
regards,
John.

John, it applies to eBay as well as Gumtree.
Edit, and I presume any other pickup item that you pay for by Paypal.
