Received retro canister set in the post today, the largest canister arrived with a crack on the front left hand side 1/2 way down the canister & also a significant crack on the bottom..
Ive sent an email to the seller with photos & asked for a full refund.
How long should I wait for a response before opening a case with paypal?

Just wondering, is it unfair as a buyer to not only want the cost of the item back but the postage as well?
I personally as both a buyer & seller believe that not only the item costs need to be paid but also the postage?
Others thoughts?

eBay does actually suggest that sellers pay for return postage.
However... If an item is not as described and the seller puts "Buyer pays return postage" in their listing (regarding Returns), there's not much you can do except hope they are exceedingly nice and pay return postage. It's just that they're not obligated to. That's why it's good to try and always keep a nice communication going even if an item is not as described. It's hard... but may pay off in cases where you ask them to pay for return postage.
