Item not received case

Hey, I recently purchased some batteries from a seller and shipping was Standard Postage (Australia Post Parcel Post Parcel + Signature). The estimated delivery date came and gone so I opened a case of item not received. The seller then added tracking information with Australia post in the case which was for a totally different suburb to which I live which is my shipping address. Obviously the seller has either shipped to the wrong address or is giving shipping information for someone else purchase for mine. Now the seller wont reply in the case and it tells me If you don't hear back by Feb. 1, or if there's a problem, you can ask us to step in and help on that day. It is now the 1st Feb and all I can do is send message to seller or close the case. I have no option to ask ebay to step in. Could this be a loop hole this seller is using by adding tracking information even though it has nothing to do with my order to prolong and kill the process of the item not received case? Any advise, help would be appreciated. Thanks

My advise, if you lose the case, give the seller a negative. They may have a response to your negative, at least you are letting other buyers know this seller is dodgy.

As others have been saying, not other sellers are this bad.

Nothing better than going in boots and all, I applaud you for that attitude..............NOT.

Did you read the whole thread by the way ?????

Sadly to say ebay chose to not refund due to eBay Premium Service seller providing false fraudulent delivery details. One bad egg that knows how to use and abuse ebay policies to there advantage is enough for me not to buy here any longer as the money is not a factor but the principle of the fact that buyer protection as advertised is a load of **bleep** and false advertisement. Thank you all for your replies and trying to help but I hope ebay burns in hell

wow, all over a $3.14 purchase with free postage and SOD.  You really do stand by your principles, I admire that!

Maybe you need to familiarise yourself with both buyer and seller protection before you spit the dummy over a $3 purchase, where the postage alone would have been more than the purchase price.

Obviously registered post and it costs more than the item sent. Why can't people see the scam thats happening here.

Perhaps you should self-report that last post for profanity before the mods see it...................thEmoticon_digging (2).gif

Maybe you need to stop hiding behind an alias on the forums with 1,669 posts and no feedback. Obviously your a seller disguising under another username... Protecting what ebay lets you get away with because your sellers and you pay fees

Members are fully entitled to use separate ID's for buyin, selling and posting on the boards - indeed they (eBay) encourage it.
