I bought an item for nearly $50 2months ago, I waited as per the instructions on postage and exepted it may take a while for the item to get to me as it was comming from over seas. I contacted the seller to track it down (it had tracking) and he responded that it could not be found. Not his fault is he is a genuine seller but he refuses to refund me. Is this exeptable?

I thought that you were smarter than this Dave? here in Australia the dates are set out like this 12/05/12 which means May not Dec

Zelly, check your settings.....this thread was started on 5th December 2012 and continued on the 6th December 2013.

So why the hell is it dated 12/05/12 ? Don't worry I just answered my own question as I have just realised that the dates are set the way the USA have them

Thanks Dave but do you know the reason why the date system is shown the way the USA show the date? Is it because Ebay is an American company?

It's something you have to set in your 'My Settings>Preferences>Display>Date Display Preferences'. Up the top of the page.
