Item shipped but...

I bid and paid for an item on 4th of May. The item was shipped on 14th of May. On 29th of May, I emailed the seller about the item, no response. On the 5th of June (which is today), I emailed the seller again asking for the tracking number, still no response. If this keeps up, what should my next move be?

The thing is, is it really the seller's fault when the item has already been shipped?

..and is it your fault that it hasnt arrived? No and No... but you have pd for an item you dont have.

The fact that your seller took 10 days to post the item, is down right pure laziness.

Can you give us the item number, so we can have a little look at this seller?

I hope you used a safe payment option like paypal to buy this item.

Definately open an INR (Item not received) case now. If it arrives in the meantime, you can always close the case early.

Re: Item shipped but...

To me it is a clear cut case & I couldn't care less where the item is coming from.

You should not bother to contact this seller again, just go straight to paypal or ebay and open an item not received case. Immediately.

The main points here are

-an item can be marked as sent when maybe it hasn't been, really.

-the seller is not responding to your messages.

-it has been over a month since you paid for the item, you have every right to expect it to have arrived, even from China, & if it hadn't I would expect the seller to be at least answering you, confirming it really had been sent etc

That's the killer bit. That the seller hasn't responded at all.

Don't put up with such rubbish. The seller didn't even mark it as posted for 10 days, they have given you no tracking number (I bet there isn't one) and they hope you will just forget about it and go away.

Well, get onto paypal now and try to get your money back. I doubt you are going to see the goods and if by remote chance they do turn up you can always refund the seller or close the case.

Sellers who don't respond to messages when an item hasn't been received and let things drag on over a month deserve negative feedback in my opinion, too.
