I have been trying to find plants on eBay which I have been unable to source locally - I have found them with a particular seller and the price is fairly reasonable. However, I have noticed that this shop is selling or trying to sell other (tubestock) plants I am familiar with which you can buy at Bunnings for less than $7 for nearly $50 plus postage.
I have advised them of my concerns through "contact seller" option for a number of these listings without a single response. The prices of these particular items have not been amended to something more reasonable either. I have made it clear to them that I am not soliciting any sort of deal for myself by pointing out these items, and I am loathe to support them by purchasing the plants which I actually do wish to purchase.
In a nutshell, I can't find a way to report an unscrupulous seller unless I have purchased the item in question from them. Can anyone advise me if there is a way to report a seller like this before they take in unsuspecting plant lovers, without having to purchase from them? It certainly seems that I will have to forgo buying the plants I want because of this awkward situation. This seller sells many different products, not just plants, so heaven knows how many people are at risk of being "ripped off".
Does eBay ever audit sellers? I am more than happy to name the seller if that is allowed.

Really?
You are obviously a seller or store owner. Perhaps you need to get a real job and find out what work is before you ask me if I work for nothing.

No, you cannot name and shame sellers on the boards.
The seller is not doing anything wrong by marking their items up.....no-one has the right to decide what price a seller should put on their items but the seller.
You are free to buy or not but if you buy just to give the seller bad feedback then you could find yourself in more trouble than the seller.
There is nothing to report the seller for but I am surprised that they have not reported you for interfering in their business.
You would be well advised to mind your own business.

What the?
No-one is going to dictate to me how much I should sell my stock for!
If you know the price is too high, look elsewhere.
Don't be surprised if that seller has blocked you from buying from them.
The first message you sent, they would have blocked you, and therefore have not
even seen any further messages that you've sent.

Curious if you go into b&m stores (who) have HUGE mark ups and take products to the service desk and tell the staff
"you are chraging too much for this" ?
Don't like the price, don't buy
Be it on ebay, online shops or at a shopping center

Customer-designated pricing - great concept!

Just out of curiosity did you bother to ask the seller how many tubestock plants were being supplied for the price. I have done a quick check of tubestock plants listed on ebay and ebay stores. For anything near the price you have quoted, I have only been able
to locate bulk tubestock, usually 8 or 10.
As for the rest of your post and replies, I agree that it really is none of your bussiness, and then to try and justify your I am right
the rest of the world is wrong attitude, by accusing the seller of preying on the elderly is ludicrous.
