This question has probably been asked and I apologise for asking again, but can someone tell me why sellers are allowed to cancel a listing AFTER bids have been placed.
I am trying to purchase a Chesterfield Lounge and for the third time (all different sellers), the listing has been ended, after bids have been placed and the lame reason that Ebay gives is that "the item is no longer available".
I am also aware that sellers may sell the item privately or they may not feel that bids are high enough....If that is the case be realistic about your starting price and stop messing buyers around.
I KNOW that....as my bids have been cancelled, I am fed up of this happening...in fact I am disappointed with Ebay over all just lately.

yes I question this to. Would love to know if ebay keeps count on how often sellers do this, and if they get strikes.
I got feed up with this happening all the time. I still don't understand why sellers can't put a amount in they are happy with for bids to start at.
I have had many responses when I said how tired I am with this and the main response its there iteam until u pay to do as they wish yet
I just recieved a strike for cancelling a bid, well isn't it my money until I hand it over????
