I have been with ebay since 2005, in that time I have never been scammed UNTIL NOW
Purchased 2 office chairs - ID member had no feedback and was new to ebay, gave him an opportunity to get feedback,
viewing now so did 10 other people.
No sign of any goods, he has not answered 5 emails I sent looking for goods - NO REPLY
I HAVE BEEN SCAMMED , BEWARE of New ebayers with no feedback ..
I believe other buyers have not left feedback yet, maybe they are still unaware the chairs are NOT coming
Hope this helps everyone BUYING on Ebay

Your best course of action is to report it to ACORN and let them handle it.

"I have never heard of ebay or paypal reimbursing anyone for bank deposit payments EVER in all my years on the boards."
Thats why i checked and still waiting on other emails response suspect these scumbags are always looking for the easy money

I do hope you didn't click on any links in that email, if you did you'd be well advised to run all your virus scans as well as a malware scan, and change all passwords you use on-line.

"I do hope you didn't click on any links in that email"
No just sent to spoof at ebay and to same paypal just waiting on paypals answer which i suspect is the same. Why would i get two emails within an hour of each other and especially from paypal international ag that have never had any dealings with. Seems scammers are always on the march. Pity i was hoping and end to saga

I certainly hope so as ebay said last email was and ebays reply covers both paypal and ebay
"
Thanks for forwarding the suspicious message you received. The email you reported did not come from PayPal or eBay. It was a fake, often called a "spoof" or "phishing" email. (That's "phishing," as in "fishing" for personal information.) Our security teams are working to disable any websites it links to.
Somehow dont believe either emails reading some of the reports about " eBay International AG sent you"
So just watching account and putting alerts on.

And now for the news
The email i first received from ebay after the checking the status of my claim states resolved in my Favour.
What i thought was a fake email and sent to spoof email @ebay to confirm, this in fact turns out to be incorrec adviset, in that it wasactually legit so just shows the strange ebay sytem. To be told by ebay spoof email it was phishing email when in fact was true really shows how crazy the system really runs.
Was at one point thinking i must have smoked something that put me in some journey hadnt been down before. So yes i will be paid the sum of claim .and yes it was for a claim paid for this item.first outlined in original post.
Although i still dont know from where the money came from, i sincerly doubt that it was from sellers pocket. But this i cannot confirm.
i somehow believe if my new found follower did not provide the funds.
And somehow believe it was part of "oiling the squeeky wheel". So if you believe you are right then persist through the standard speak that most ebay reps provide and stick to your case. And keep questioning every aspect of your case.
And i hope my new found follower will disengage himself totally from my life and keep his item to himself there will be many more to choose from in the future.
The only thing i am unhappy about is that the space left for ebays feedback is so limited to convey my response so i will do it here.
Dont buy from him he will stooge you out of your money and you will never see you item
just like another purchaser
"item never received and seller will not contact me with details BE AWARE!!!!!!!!
Best regards to all.

Thank you for your reply, yes I did, I sent 5 emails over the course of 15 days to no avail of return answer
They are a scam, still no chairs to date
@padi*0409 wrote:It's not yet past the ETA for the chairs, and the courier they're using is notoriously slow to deliver. The seller says 4 - 15 business business days for delivery and only 13 business days have passed.
Did you contact the seller for tracking before leaving the neg for them?
