Paypal NOT signing out after you complete a purchase! EBAY PLEASE FIX THIS!

Since the big hack, make sure you  open your Paypal account in a separate browser and sign it out manually. My friends and I have all noticed this, after you make a purchase in eBay using Paypal and finish up - you are still logged in!

I originally found ths by accident by opening my Paypal account manually to check something - it does NOT automatically sign you out after the transaction is complete in eBay - like it used to. God only knows how long my Paypal account had been logged on :(.

I think you'll find it's always been like that. I generally return straight away to PayPal to print out a copy of the transaction when I'm purchasing something for work and have never had to log back in. Your login times out after a few minutes.

It has been like that for as long as I remember, and whilst I can't remember the exact timeframe, once your account shows no activity for I think 15 minutes, it automatically logs out.

Yep - always been the same,

if you go into paypal via eBay you are re-directed and the passwords etc are encrypted and protected, if you go into paypal as a paypal user, then you need to sign out as you will leave the portal open if you don't.
