Does anyone know what this means? Trying to use the code. >$50 for 1 item but it keeps coming up with that error.

I’ve tried a couple of different sellers and getting the same error. All the items I’ve tried have been listed as in Australia.

To add insult to injury I didn’t get either of the take15 or take20 offers despite being with eBay for 15+ years.

Just tried about 5 different items and they all did the same thing.

I used it the other day without problems, maybe try clearing cache and cookies and rebooting your computer. I'm running Firefox on my laptop for eBay.

While the items are listed in Australia, the seller may not be in Australia,and if the seller is registered o/s I don’t think the code will work

 

Just trying to think of all possible causes, sorry they’ve been no help thus far

I’m not using eBay on the computer. Using it on iPad and phone and my work computer. Plus tried several items. They can’t all be registered overseas.

Just to prove I’m not full of **bleep** and it’s not due to an overseas seller thing I’ve added an item from Dick Smith, clearly Australian retailer, and did the same thing.

RING eBay (not email), or get them to call you back. Let them know it's not working for you, despite repeated tries. They will probably tell you to go ahead and purchase, and they will credit the voucher amount back to your PayPal account.

 

Something that no-one else has mentioned, even though it's not in the T&C's, is you eBay email and PayPal email the same? 99.99% of vouchers say they need to be the same. 

 

Also, when Crow asked if you used PHENOM as the code, I believe she was implying to put it in in capital letters. Sometimes it can make a difference.
