Pitney Bowes UK Postage Pirates

I bought a jumper from the UK that cost me 5 pounds and Pitney Bowes charged me 15 pounds postage. I was a bit shocked, who are they and when did they take over from the Royal Mail?

As an expat from the UK, I occasionally like to buy stuff  that I can't purchase easily in Aus but not anymore 😞

Re: Pitney Bowes UK Postage Pirates

found that thread by Ricky. Brings back memories of what we regulars put up with from a difficult poster (on several of his threads).  And he was a newbie who received plenty of helpful advice, but was just trying it on to get us to help him set up his listings to avoid having to refund buyers he was scamming.

you have totally missed the point I was making.

YOU named three other people who have used more disparaging terms than you when speaking of the former PM as a way of excusing your use of a (less) disparaging term.  By making that point you are conceding that you were using a disparaging term.

Thats why I asked you to think of the three worst bullies (as you call them) here on these boards, and proceeded to ask if was okay for me to be a ‘not as bad’ bully as those three you would think of.

in some ways I am feeling left out Smiley Sad

No, what I was trying to say and obviously haven't said it well enough was that what I said pales in comparison to what three major prominent politicians have said about Howard. Crean was leader of labor and if I'm not wrong said it like he did. Anyway, the conversation didn't evolve to where I wanted it to. But the term I used to describe him here pales in comparison to what I really think of him.

Anyway , we're going around in circles

Look, you have said some things that I don't agree with, you're cantankerous on occasion as well and a couple of things you have said, well ...  ... if we were in the same room  (The way I felt at the time lol) , fists could have been flying. But I do not lump you in with that crew of bullies. So I know the difference.

okay, I’m going to call you out on part of your post I have quoted.

I admit that I may be cantankerous at times and have no issue with that description.

However, I don’t take eBaying or these boards that seriously that I would entertain having a fist fight with any poster that posts here that doesn’t agree with my posts, or for any other reason.  I’m just not that sort of person i.e. one who might resort to violence or even think of it due to differences of opinion.

That said, it would follow that you would be the one resorting to use of fists.  Some would call that bullying!

I'm surprised you scooped this up like you did. I always thought you were definitely flying above those bullies here.

I don't take eBaying or these boards seriously enough to entertain having a fist fight either. Not seriously.  I said that to give emphasis.

Spoiler
Oh, maybe when you basically called me a W-a-n-k, but then again I would have been more likely to have told you something worse

The last person I whacked was the guy that abused me, then hit me in the head for no reason. He has a reputation of bening something of a narcisist. I have it back to him in the same measure. He was a quite big guy too and he got scared so I held back on the second whack left it at that.  That's control sir!

I have been called some offensive names on these boards, but can’t recall ever replying in kind.  I admit to calling Ricky a ‘peanut’ once, but he had included my username in an item description of his, and he was acting like a peanut.  I have reported some offensive posts and not others.  My reason for not reporting all offensive posts is that if they are left there other members can make their own judgement of the poster.

(A recent post of mine on the UGG thread in Community Spirit is testament to my attitude to being called a derogatory name).

Some years back, following some terse posts back and forth with another poster, I took about a 6 to 8 week break from posting on these boards.  I still read threads, just didn’t post.  Gave me time to rethink my participation on these boards.

Maybe you need a break!

Well, perhaps I should feel honoured that I have been called something by you. OK, well you did it in a rhyming thinly veiled fashion.

Spoiler
And it came about, yes from my making fun of Howard

Still .....   Smiley Frustrated

@4channel

I have a confession to make.

For the last couple of days my aim has been to continue to engage with you (on this thread) in a way that would see you NOT mention the GSP or Pitney Bowes.

By my count your last 6 posts on this thread are GSP FREE, with the last 5 being Pitney Bowes FREE.  That must be some sort of record as you haven’t posted on other threads while engaged on this one.

But I am bored with that now.

This thread was started just on 4 years ago, and it should be locked as the posts of the last week have mostly been off topic.

LOL, I know you look forward to reading my posts.

Well, "GSP FREE" and  "Pitney Bowes FREE" , I'd just also be really happy to be GMO free. IT's getting harder and harder these days.

Yes, thread was fired up again by melbakimble who had to pay through the nose. Rather than lock threads, I would like to see a clearer dating on them so people can see they're old ones. People are possibly doing a search on GSP issues when they have a problem and reply to the first thread they see.

Yeah, a thread that goes back to 2015. I wonder how OP onei0403 has been getting on. I see onei0403's still active on ebay and the last vist to message boards was December 27th, 2017.

My kudos was in light of having recently watched some "Whose Line Is It, Anyway?" with the odd superheros game. "GSPboy" sounds perfect for one of those superheroes!
