Just want to confirm something.
When a post is removed and appealed does the letter acknowledging your appeal state
Regardless of the outcome of this review, the post will not be reinstated?
I got a message from another person telling me a post would be reinstated if it was found to have nothing wrong with it.
Also
If as a seller you had feedback you did not like and boasted about it going to be removed and it was removed then the buyer that left that feedback appealed the decision stating there was nothing there to breach FB policy and so it was then reinstated, would you as the seller be annoyed at ebay or the buyer?

Personally, I like to leave business matters off the boards, but thats just me.

So sorry, it just shows how much I don't know, I always tought that is what the boards are for!
Just looking quickly over the questions in general, including this very thread.
It was all to do with someone's f/backs.
But thank you so much kazbar, very kind of you to help.

Hawk, thank you so much for the response, I just wish I understood what you were trying to say.
Is your last paragraph just a general comment or is it to do whith f/back leaving - or what?
And since I have never left anyone a neg (but I only had less than half a dozen purchases on Ebay) I was just wandering if there is a "right" way, some sort of "norm" when leaving f/back - hence my question above

Not sure why you don't understand,
for me the purpose of feedback is to reflect how I feel about the transaction.
I have had a couple recently where an item was not received in reasonable time and the seller failed to respond until a paypal dispute was opened, then they advised me they were so sorry out of stock.
I won the claim and left the feed back I felt they deserved for wasting my time.
No I didn't lose any money but I did lose time that they can't refund

Hawke, I did understand the first part, your second paragraph, the one with little blue face somehow didn't fit in within the question, or if it was relevant I didn't get it.
And I most certainly don't blame you for leaving bad f/back to someone who wasted your time - and also had to claim to get your money back.
I didn't think of that possibility when asking for the opinions, I just meant generally when one gets a refund straight away as ithout giving it some thought I just assumed that sellers do that, but now I see there is a huge difference in how and when one gets a refund. And consequently any f/back would reflect that.
Thnks so much again....
Almost time to finish and go home,

I am sure you will make a connection with the second paragraph if you think long and hard ๐

Me?
Make a connection with a paragraph?
Don't even know what it means or how it's connected with my question, let alone connected with me.
Not important I guess, what I am going to think long and hard about is what am I going to wear (what else is new) - and head out for a great night out!
Have a lovely night yourself...

Don't listen to anybody, JHS. That's what I'd be doing if I was you: Thinking long and hard about what I am going to wear and heading out for a great night out! Nothing better ๐

Good afternoon calsof,
just got in - thankfully had a morning off, came in very handy after the last night!
Had a great time, danced a lot, fab dinner & drinks, watched someone run from the restaurant without paying and all the staff took off after them.
In the early hours we went to someone's place and played Pinball machines. They are addictive, once you start you can't stop!
Roll on Friday night, I have to do it all over again!
And have a wonderful, exciting and fun night/weekend yourself. xx
