Just want to confirm something.
When a post is removed and appealed does the letter acknowledging your appeal state
Regardless of the outcome of this review, the post will not be reinstated?
I got a message from another person telling me a post would be reinstated if it was found to have nothing wrong with it.
Also
If as a seller you had feedback you did not like and boasted about it going to be removed and it was removed then the buyer that left that feedback appealed the decision stating there was nothing there to breach FB policy and so it was then reinstated, would you as the seller be annoyed at ebay or the buyer?

I recently had a disastrous episode with a seller who said 1-6 days delivery and faield to deliver until after 40 days - by which stage I had issued several requests to cancel the order ad eventualyl started a Paypal dispute. their service was atrocious, and I left neg feedback indicating so. My feedback was removed by EBay as inappropriate but no one at EBay could tell me what eactly I had said that was inappropriate, and nor was I given any chance to revise and resend my feedback according to their so called guidelines. This meant that a transaction that required over 30 emails and about the same in phone calls now has no negative feedback left at all. If all I can leave is sugary sweet positive comments then what is the purpose of the feedback?? I shall pay no attention whatsoever to the feedback rating of sellers in future, as clearly they are not an accurate indicator of customer satisfaction. What a waste of effort!

I believe mine are.
If you state simple facts there are normally no grounds for removal. If you call the seller names or mention the dispute, then the feedback will normally be removed.

the effort wasted is resurrecting OLD OLD Threads for no apparent reason.

So if ebay won't reinstate a post that was removed in error, is it OK for the poster to repost it?

Oops, bugga, didn't notice this was a resurrected thread. (backs out slowly with egg on face.)

ele, I have seen that question asked before, but never answered.
I have a feeling no-one has been brave enough to try reposting, even if it was been "cleared" by the Mods...we cannot afford to risk any more slaps.
There have been so many posts removed from this thread that it makes very little sense now and I for one would not repost any of mine...why tempt fate?:O

Oh boy, zombie time :_|
You can be sure that your feedback would be in breach of some feedback policy, for instance you are not allowed to mention disputes or Paypal, you are not allowed to make derogatory personal remarks and you have not got to say anything that cannot be backed up by proof positive.
