Why the need for a new topic when there is already one a dozen pages long about it?

Why do you have to buy a chip cutter press on eBay ?

Hardly 'new' it was announced months ago, so plenty of time to buy before it came in

Have you taken it up with 'Queensland police'?

Are they monitoring eBay purchases?

Are they patrolling retail stores?

Have they set up an SCT? (Spud Cutter Taskforce)

Do Queenslanders need a licence to own these?

Are kids in Qld committing chip related crimes with cutter presses?

With an election coming up, ask both parties what they are going to do about this.  I am sure that Chipafulli will have an answer.

Luckily I don't live in Queensland, so I can still buy knives. Or chip cutter press things. Also known as a mandoline

I’m sympathetic re this blanket ban’s implementation; it’s frustrating, but until and unless there’s a solution, buying anything knife-like online is going to be fraught with difficulties for Queenslanders. Those affected will need to find another way.

Maybe you could ask the police to cut your chips for you.   Seriously it is not the police standing checking what you are buying, it is the legislation,  and the way it has being implemented by Ebay.

So many questions;

Have the police formed a chip cutter task force ?

Have you been issued with a chip cutter  restraining order?

Is there an amnesty period to surrender existing chip cutters?

Is there a constable stationed  in the isle at K-mart?

But don't you worry about that all that.  Go to Coles and buy the 2 kilo bag of frozen chips or  McDonald's and say 'Supersize Me!'
