I find it very frustrating, I pay money for an item only to discover seller doesn't have product in stock & then have to wait 11 days to get same??
Sellers should not be able to list if they don't have item in stock..
It has happened twice with one particular seller, I think I will buy these elsewhere from now on!!

I haven't voted mainly because if there is a waiting time of 11 days on an OOS item, I reckon that is pretty good. Please try to remember that sellers are human, and if they are a high volume seller, then sometimes an item may be out of stock without them realising it. In the grand scheme of things if you receive the item you paid for within 2 weeks, where is the problem?
I am sorry but sometimes I think buyers on eBay expect the impossible. On most internet/mail order sites the best info you get is 'please allow 28 days for delivery'

Before I vote I want to clarify the options.
If I vote "Agree", am I agreeing with you that having to wait is wrong, OR, that I agree that sellers should be able to list items they do not have in stock, AND, if I vote "Disagree", am I disagreeing with you, OR, am I disagreeing that sellers should be able to list items they do not have in stock?
Polls are confusing some times.

It is unacceptable and so is taking longer than the usual time frame to post.

deja - don't upset me, I am fragile at the moment. I honestly do not think a waiting time of 2 weeks is not acceptable. Please, back me up on this - remember I am fragile at the moment

I can't see fragile tape on your picture.
It isn't fair to expect a buyer to wait for a while for their item to be posted when it should already be available.

I personally can't see anything wrong with waiting on something that is out of stock - on other sites I do it almost all the time!
I waited for one handabg about two years, but still had to pre pay the full amount.
And besides, some selllers maybe don't have the money to buy stock, or don't want to spend their own money (standard business practice), they want to get paid first - then go use the money to buy the item.
PO, I would't worry at all, especially on Ebay where at least one has some sort of protection if nothing turns up within 45 days.
Hope at least you were happy with your item when it finally arrived.

It's good to see you still live in fairyland JHOS.
