I have a seller that hasn't accepted a payment yet through paypal.
I have gathered that maybe the payment might be on a 21 day hold for the seller, the seller has sold over 11 items in around 3 days
and I have noticed that maybe all other payments from the other buyers aren't being accepted either as there hasn't been any movement regarding feedback and what not.
Seller has relisted more items,I have messaged the seller asking why they haven't accepted the payment with no response from them.
So in a nut shell does anyone know how much time paypal gives the seller to accept the payment before cancelling it?
I have the choice though to cancel it at any stage but I don't want to do this as I might end up with a UID.

Oh well, it's their loss if they don't send it. At least they can't open another UPI against you.

Very frustrating.

It will be my loss if they don't claim the payment and then send it as I won it for only 1/3 of the value of the item.
So could be one of those that don't want to part with it as they never received enough for it.
Also there isn't any evidence yet that all the other buyers haven't had the same thing done to them as no-one has left feedback for the seller.
I think once someone leaves feedback might start the ball rolling lol.

I meant his loss in that he'd lose the fees. If you got it really cheap, you could be right in that he is refusing to part with it.

Unbelievable, the seller still hasn't cancelled after not accepting payment 5 times that I tried to pay.
And there hasn't been any movement with any of the other buyers as no feedback has been left.
Seller replied that they are aware that they haven't accepted the payment.
They sold over $1K which will cost them around $100 in fees which they don't seem to care or understand.
Does anyone know what happens if the seller doesn't do anything about it?
As I've still got the stage where it says to pay for the item, but I can't,seller won't accept.
Will the transaction just disappear one day?
Ebay were no help, they said just pay it,but I can't lol.

Just ignore the reminders to pay.
The transaction will eventually disappear into the Archives.
If the seller does open an Unpaid Item dispute just tell ebay that you have paid and give them one of the paypal Unique IDs.

They shouldn't be able to open an UPI against you because they already did and it closed when you tried to pay again. If the seller doesn't send a cancellation request, they lose their fees, nothing happens to you apart from not getting the item you wanted. It will disappear off your purchase history after 60 days, or if you're sick of looking at it, archive it (or "hide" it as it is now).

I wonder if we are dealing with same seller. Stuck in same boat. Absolutely infuriating because both Seller + Ebay do not make effort to assist. This problem remains and continues to be a problem.

Is the item still showing in your purchase history? It doesn't appear in any searches which makes me wonder if eBay removed it for some reason.
