I have a very bad seller located in China. I was sent fake turquoise and moonstone beads that turned out to be plastic. I requested a refund through paypal stating fake items and seller refunded. Then I obviously left negative feedback on 2 of the 3 items.
He requested feedback removal on the grounds that he already refunded. Unfortunately any buyer in her right mind is going to warn others of the fraud. He was abusive calling me a liar etc, in his message for the feedback removal. Now today I get cancellation requests stating that I have not paid. As far as I can see, is this just so he can get back his ebay fees? It's not like he can start a dispute since I paid and was refunded through paypal.

Just ignore it. You are correct, he just wants his FVF back.

Have they sent Mutual Cancellation request or Unpaid Item reminder?
If its Mutual Cancellation,I'd definitely respond by REFUSING.

Yes, click on the refuse, PLEASE 🙂
If he did manage to open unpaid item case, call eBay immediately. He should not be able to open unpaid case, but it happened to me once with chinese seller, and once I got strike (despite answering the case with the payment number) the NEGs went too 😞 The strikes were removed but the FB was not reinstated.

Also use the "report abuse" link on each of the abusive messages he sent you. If he left you FB with negative comment, report it and will be removed and he will get a policy violation against his ID.

Totally refuse - ignore - and with any luck they will go away

Yeah... if the seller is rude... may aswell just ignore their requests for things like neg feedback removal.
