Hi I bought an item that costs 2600 and tge seller sent me wrong item. I sent him a msg about the problem but still got no reply. Should I open a case to return item or should I wait until the seller responds?

I can't believe you are saying that. The experience with the previous seller was frustrating because it was international freight and involved custom clearnace and pickup from the airport which I wasn't familiar with. In the end it turned out pleasant. A string broke after a few days but seller sent me free sets of strings and the sound was better than I expected so I'd say it was more than pleasant. I needed a second harp but couldnt afford the custom clearance, impirt tax and brokerage fee so I just decided to buy from this local store. It was cheap and I even expected it to be better than the harp I bought from pakistan since its from 'australian' store. If it was anything I should be blocking this seller and I will definitely not buy anything from this store in the future. It was THEM who made the mistake not me

I personally don't feel the store will block you, considering they made the mistake. As long as the return/refund process goes smoothly.
If it does, if the harp is picked up by a courier and you receive the full refund promptly once it is returned, please consider giving positive feedback to mention the mistake but how the seller dealt with it properly. That sort of feedback is valuable to future buyers as the true test of a seller can sometimes be how they deal with problems.
I didn't realise there was another harp thread. Maybe I wasn't paying proper attention.
But I am with Janeababe on this one in that if there is a next time, maybe make a day of it (or even a weekend away) and travel into a big city centre where you can see some actual products.
I don't know a lot about musical instruments but I would think there may be specialised second hand sales places, even some online.
There are certainly a lot of specialised sales sites for everything else and I can't imagine music would be an exception.
If things go okay with this refund though, that will be 2 ebay experiences that overall worked out okay even if stressful. You obviously feel the first settled down to be a good buy but just with associated hassles.
If you want to buy anything mega expensive though from ebay, ask relevant questions before committing.
I don't know what that involves with harps, but maybe what wood it is made of, details of the manufacture or whatever.

Only if I get a full refund

You may be able to do this for other instruments but not harps. Decent big harps are very rare in australia, sydney especially. Even the **bleep** ones handmade costs well over 3k (why I resorted to ebay)
If I had to buy harp again I'd import it from pakistan only if I can figure out how to do customs myself without a broker

Seller has sent me the label but when I looked up its tracking number with the courier, I got this
โDoes this mean its booked or not booked yet?
on โ08-08-2022 04:01 PM
It says it has been booked at the bottom, so, yes, I think it has.
Delays have sadly become normal for all couriers. Nothing to do with your return or to worry about.

But why does it say no status?
on โ08-08-2022 04:09 PM
Also is it correct to put my name as sender? And do I have to put the return detail on ebay?
on โ08-08-2022 04:14 PM
Yes, you are the sender.
I have never done it, but you should be able to upload the tracking number to your return case.
Booked, but no status - I guess it is the equivalent of "shipping information received by Australia Post". The booking is fine, but they have not picked up the parcel yet, so there are no scans.

It is not australia post but courier ocmpany called transdirect. At the top it says booking undefined though. Shouldn't it at least have pickup suburb on it?

But if anything goes wrong with this delivery seller would be responsible for it right, since he is the one who created this return shipping
