Hi All,
I purchased in Dec 17 one of these from this seller https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/FOOD-VACUUM-SEALER-VACUUM-PACKING-MACHINE-DZ-260-VACUMM-CHAMBER-ALUMINUM...
It has stopped working and despite numerous emails and contacting ebay and paypal, it seems nothing can be done. They do state this on the listing "Refunds by law: In Australia, consumers have a legal right to obtain a refund from a business if the goods purchased are faulty, not fit for purpose or don't match the seller's description. More information at returns."
I'm not looking for a refund just repairs or replacement if required.
Can anyone suggest what I can do next please?
Cheers
Rob

Unfortunately the seller you purchased from is based in China and Australian consumer only applies to Australian retailers.
So unfortunately we can't see any way you can have this warranty enforced (which is what Chinese sellers rely on when they mention a warranty in their listing).
Looking on the listing under shipping it states
Ships from Sydney, AU and only to ebay address
So they should have an office here maybe

Highly unlikely they have any office in Australia. Their feedback is atrocious. If you can't find
anywhere to repair the machine at your own cost, take it to the tip. Not what you want to hear
but...........

Given that it's come from China, it's highly likely that it's not certified for use in Australia so probably the tip is the best place for it - after cutting off any power cords.
Unless of course you want to risk electrocuting yourself or others, note that if it happens to cause a fire your insurance company will not cover you for any damage caused by it.
