Friday 7.45am I think possibly my Ebay parcel may have been nicked from my front door as I heard and saw courier attempting to deliver it. Think it would have been Australia post contractor (also viewed a scuffle with someone) then saw courier leave to get back into post van, went to check for parcel but no luck. Parcel from Canada, no track number. Saw somebody grab courier by his top, positive it was female attacking him . Would have been person who lives in my block of flats. Saw all this from my loungeroom window. Could anyone advise me what to do at all? I have home contents insurance. I am hoping courier put parcel back into van due to the trouble. Very very distressing. Would have run to front door but was in pyjamas. Spoke with post office this morning personally but they did not seem that concerned. Any good ideas about what I can do?

So it wasn't stolen by your batty neighbour and no couriers were attacked in the delivery of your item.

While it made for great reading at the time you must have driven the police and Australia Post up the wall.  If this is the item that you received the paypal refund for I hope you have repaid the seller.

I hope your New Year Resolution was to get a grip on your imagination and don't make mountains out of molehills with your ebay purchases.

Must have come surface mail. Although seller did not say this.
Heard a lot of noise and carry on near front of my unit on 13th Nov early in morning so stupid me assumed something was amiss.
I think Lyndal said far too early for a delivery from Canada.
And the tracking number wasnt much cop.

It should say on the package if it was surface mail.

Or if its not marked as Airmail - it would come by surface mail

Seller at fault there - should've been marked as Airmail

Stawks, a lot of Canadian sellers deliberately list with surface mail without saying so as the airmail postage can be extremely expensive.

If buyers are not familiar with Cnandian postage it is very easy to get caught out.

I discovered this little foible years ago and regularly used to call sellers out....sometimes they tried to deny it but soon relised that I did know what I was talking about.

So yes, seller was at fault but we will never know if it was accidental or deliberate.

Then the seller should not have been puzzled as to the delay.

I would suggest not buying from them again and leave appropriate feedback
