The amounts listed for items in my watch list are lower than the actual price on the individual entry. Why is this happening? eg Top listed at $5.66 on my watch list is actually $7.54 on the actual item entry.

I am sorry to hear that you are encountering this issue.
I checked this on my end and I can see that this is a technical issue that some of our members are experiencing. This has been escalated to our Technical team at the same time we don't have a specific time frame yet on when this issue will be fully resolved. However, I'd like to assure you that our Technical team are working hard to resolve this soon as we understand that this is causing inconvenience to our members.
For the meantime, I suggest that you check the amount on the item page and don't base it from the price on your watchlist. I really apologise for the inconvenience this has caused you.

So they've informed you how to "avoid" it being a problem but haven't informed all the other members
that if it looks to good to be true it probably is,(the same as scam listings),
