Unable to do purchase!

When I pay for items, it is processed via my Visa card (you can also have it drawn from your bank account)so Saturday I lost the card and had it cancelled.Had one an item won through bidding so couldn't pay cause of cancellation of card. Have contacted Paypal and got them to add my bank account so as I can do the purchase.Will have to wait two days before this is active to use. What a drag.

Stawks, that post was on the 12th so that would make it the 16th that it would close....Tuesday.   But is it AU or US time.

Tuesday here is Monday in the USA.

There is going to be a lot more to this transaction before it ends even if it is paid for before the deadline.  I am sure Michelle has no idea how slow Canadian mail is, even though I have warned her several times.

I feel so sorry for the seller.

you could ask eBay to change Canadian time to Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST) so that they match up and there is no confusion.

Judging by the examples of contact you have had with eBay in the past I'm sure they are used to getting strange requests from you.  Like the time a buyer put you on their blocked list and wouldn't tell you why and you emailed eBay to ask them to take you off the seller's BBL.

I'm sure eBay pay your emails all the due attention that they deserve, give it a go, can't hurt.

lyndal, I've been to Canada.  Got there after extensive travel through west coast USA, Mexico, Belize, Guatemala, Mexico again, west coast USA again, then on to British Columbia.  I hitch hiked around for about four weeks and found Canadians to be friendly, helpful and accommodating people.  I'm sure they wouldn't mind a request to align their timezone to ours.  Wouldn't hurt to ask!
