By the way the seller has offered me a refund and if I decline said item will be posted in 3-5 days. That was yesterday. Bit odd seeing as I had paid on the 10th Sep. No sign yet of it being shipped as yet.
of course not! If a buyer opens a refund claim why on earth would they send the item?
If you only cancelled the case yesterday the seller may be asleep at the moment. At 4.15pm AEST it is 2.15am in New York and 11.15pm in Los Angeles.
Give your seller a break and stop think poorly of them. THEY ARE NOT ON HOBART TIME!
You are right in saying something is a bit odd, but its got nothing to do with when you paid or the fact that the seller has not posted the item yet!!!!!! Think about it.

Of course it has not been posted yet.....you asked for your money back. Why would the seller post anything after that.
AND your seller has a 3-5 day handling time.
I am at a loss to understand how you were even able to open a dispute before the due date for arrival. let alone before the seller's handling time had expired.
Do you even read the answers that are given to you on your numerous threads....do you understand the answers you are given?

Now the poor seller has earned a defect for his troubles too. Hopefully he knows he can ring ebay to get it removed.

/sigh
I'm sorry but its been said before Michelle...maybe online buying just isn't for you. It obviously isn't suited to every personality.
I have waited over 2 1/2 months in one case for an item (from Canada, you know what I mean lyndal!) and I have another US purchase which has gone AWOL somewhere after more than 7 weeks - corresponding politely with the seller, he has agreed to ship a replacement so we'll see if lightning doesn't strike in the same place twice heh. If you're going to online shop, patience really is a necessity as there are often factors out of our control at play.
