Started out with my usual hunt around last night worldwide for any nice kingfisher figurines in all categories.I always see there are a lot of kingfisher skulls/skins for sale.looked into it further to satisfy my curiousity. These are farmed, wild caught and bought from markets in Asia.I thought thats bad enough.Decided to go further and look what fur was for sale.Happened across one seller from China with over 8000 feedbacks selling all sorts of fur products from many different animals and they stated they are all from Chinese Fur Farms.Kept going and did a Google search on these farms{WORST THING I EVER DID}.Go and watch a couple of videos,I dare you.Extreme cruelty at its absolute worst.I do not belong to any group. This is just an experience that happened.Ebay Honchos need to get together and watch this stuff on a big screen and just ban this from being sold on Ebay. But we are very greedy and it always come down to the dollar and to hell with anything else.I did see there were petitions to sign on the internet so maybe people could take out a little time to support this.Once in a blue moon I get on these message boards but felt I had to have a say.

Surely the nightmares are from googling the videos rather than buying figurines on ebay?
I don't understand what you are hoping to achieve by posting here.
If someone buys these fur products then they must come through customs to get to the buyer so it really doesn't have anything to do with ebay, surely it is a government issue.
ebay are not in a position to inspect where all fur products sold on their site originated ie chinese fur farms or the local tannery.
I don't have a problem with wearing leather shoes or even a leather jacket and leather handbags always last longer than vinyl yet there are some that would like to see leather products banned but in most cases it is a by product of the food industry or should we ban all animal products from our life?
I know all about the way silk is thrown by experts in China and peta want silk production banned but I will continue to use silk while ever it is available.
So you have google nightmares about fur but no nightmares about all the other animal products available on ebay?
As someone said in an earlier post, the only way to stop the fur trade is to have people stop wanting fur items.
There are some climates on this planet where human beings have lived for thousands of years and they have always worn fur for warmth/protection and even today continue to wear fur because most man made materials are unable to withstand temperatures of -40 or so.
These people will always want fur and they will always wanted the cheapest possible fur so off to Mongolia you go and re-educate them about the use of fur and fur farms. Sorry but I don't see you having much success.

It's true that eBay can claim naivety regarding how the animals are treated for their fur. eBay does have a loophole that they could use if it ever went to court. At the end of the day: meat, fur, leather, etc, are huge worldwide trades. We all know what is happening to a large portion of these animals to get the product to us. It really just depends on whether you support that kind of treatment.
Alot of people are unaware about what happens. As consumers, we never really think about it. Threads like this just offer a wake-up call. Most people probably won't change their minds and continue to fund the brutal slaughter of innocent animals for a $2 burger at Maccas. Some other people may change their ways.

Is that all it costs for a burger at Maccas?
Well you will find it hard to convince many to give up meat if that is all people are paying to stuff food into their childrens' fat faces.
What else could most parents buy in a shopping centre for $2 that would make children happy?
Yes, I know there are fruit shops at the shopping centres but I think some parents would need to be taught how to peel a banana as they have never done it before.

I am still confused to the OP's post. Stating that her googling was the worst ebay experience.
Has the OP got conclusive proof that the items she saw on ebay, are directly from the animal farms ?
I am not saying they arent, but i am also not saying they are.
I have seen the way that animals are treated in asia, but i can not say conclusively that any of the animal products on ebay are from any of the animal farms i have seen on television,
I think the OP needs to rephrase her title, to " Googled animal farms. Nightmares Forever "
I think it is a huge jump to see bad treatment of animals on youtube, and directly link them to products being sold on ebay. However if i am wrong and you have conclusive proof that they are, you should contact ebay and give them the evidence and let them know what is being sold on their site. I too am against cruelty to animals, but i dont tar and feather every seller of products the same as each other.

IN those types of situations I imagine that all of the animal is used, not just skinned alive for the fur and thrown away.. The OP was talking about animals specifically bred for their furs and then their carcasses thrown out like rubbish..
I imagine in the case of the Mongolians, they would be skinning their own animals rather than shopping for furs on ebay from a seller in China..

According to this line in the OPs post: Happened across one seller from China with over 8000 feedbacks selling all sorts of fur products from many different animals and they stated they are all from Chinese Fur Farms
I would say that this is pretty good proof

Patchoo I think the problem with that is just because it is a fur farm it does not mean that farm is treating the animals cruely.
I would be pretty sure they are the type of fur farm mentioned in the OP but proving it is whole other problem
It is just like private zoos, some owners treat the animals perfectly and other owners are downright cruel.
