They have over 100 negative feedback (which wasn't there when I ordered the product). A message on the feedback stated that there was a problem with the seller (a accident, I think), and the family cannot access their account. Yet, this account is still active, even though Paypal and ebay have had to refund a heap of money!! I hope to start the process to get a refund tomorrow. Why this account hasn't been suspended is very strange

Go to the thread 4 below this one and read it as that will explain what is going on as I think that might be what you're asking about

That's correct as ebay have suspended all their selling but as kopes has mentioned if you paid with PP you will receive a refund.

Looking at the neg the OP left, it's the same seller. I'm glad to hear eBay have removed all the listings.

When in doubt hit them with a neg.
THEN ask questions.

The negs have all come fairly recently. Before this the seller had very good feedback. It is highly likely that an accident, ill health or other tradgedy has hit the seller or their family. If they do come back to try to clean up the mess, the long list of negs is going to further upset the member. Although it probably cant be helped, they have my sympathy..

I know that. In fact is the subject of a very long thread.
My point was that the OP left a neg and then came to the boards.
I'm not sure what remedy they are after, or why they think a seller would be cooperative after they've trashed them, but you might have an insight.

So ........ even though you received a refund AND you understand the seller has had an accident, you still felt the need to give the seller a negative? ........ I just don't get it.
