Over the past fortnight I have sent five courteous emais to different sellersl with a question, via their selling site.
Asking things like measurements which are not included on their listing.
Not one has responded. And, incidentally, none of the items got a bid.
I give up.....if the details aren't listing I will just go onto sellers who can be bothered giving details with their listings.

Black poppy, I hear you!
never argue postage either, but get a bit peeved when sellers are too lazy to use the correct satchel - or use just what they could nick from work anyway - and then charge me for it. Like receiving 450g items in a 3kg satchel that would have easily fit in a smaller satchel
That happened to me once-quite a while back now. I thought the item looked light-chiffon- and was a bit puzzled by the 3kg bag price.
Sure enough it did turn up in the 3kg satchel but I recall feeling actual rage to see this tiny bit of fabric inside & knowing it could have been sent at half the price!
I gave all positive feedback, mind you, but I was annoyed. It's a turn off for buyers.

I think I would question postage, but not argue, if I thought there was an error. Eg, a book might need an $8.25 satchel but if I saw $88.25 then would I would ask for confirmation of the listed postage price. This way, if it is an error it brings it to the attention of the seller and will be fixed and I can buy with confidence. If it is not an error then I know for sure and make my decision accordingly. Sadly more than one person has fallen into the trap of assuming it was an error and buying anyway then crying when they are charged the advertised amount.

You are so right! I had one buyer purchase an item, then sent me a question asking to make the postage cheaper. Considering my HF was only $1.25, sheeeez. Not to mention the fact they could have queried this before making the bid!
