The last few items I've bought have been from China/HongKong
(99%+ /10,000+) buyer says 20-30days delivery. Then nothing ever shows up.
Payapl dispute is resolved & refunded straight away & the buyer says please pay us if you get the items.
Why is this? Its almost as bad customer service as you'd expect from a Harvey Norman.

Strange. I have bought from China. Sellers have told me post takes up to
40 days. Have received all within 2 weeks. Maybe it's what you buy, or
from whom?

Becausae the items and the postage are so cheap it is much easier and more economical for them to refund if you say it hasn't arrived after a long enough wait, they know that ost people are actually honest and if the item does arrive eventually they will re make the payment, this is much better than getting a neg or making the buyer wait whhile a replacement is sent.

I understand why they refund - But why so many?
Some theories:
1) They're dishonest and expect a % of people to just ignore it - they keep the cash.
2) Australian Customs purposely 'lose' a % of cheap imported goods in an attempt to keep "The Great Australian Rip Off" afloat.
3) A leprechaun, sock thief, or bunyip is distracting the postie & raiding my letterbox.
