Hi Ebayers,
I contacted seller requesting a refund on a faulty item but they have not been co-operating. I asked ebay to step in and they claimed to respond within 48 hours - It's been 5 days and still no response . I did however see that there is a label available for me to print and send the item back (see screenshot). I have not received an official response from ebay apart from the label - does this automatically mean that I WILL receive the refund once posted?

No, you will get a refund after it has been delivered back to and inspected by the seller.

I can't swear to this as I am only a buyer but what it sounds like is that after you opened a claim, the seller has responded by sending a label. In other words, they have accepted a return.
Print out the label, make sure that the item is posted asap and with the appropriate tracking and once it arrives back to the seller, then I think the seller will have to refund you.
If they didn't, you will have proof of delivery and could contact ebay again via chat.
But I'd say the odds are good that as long as you carefully pack the item and post it off with the label, that the seller will refund after receiving it.
