Ebay ended the celebrate2015 offer today, when I try to complete a transaction at check out and use the code ,it said "no more fund", what a joke...

Had you made previous purchases using that code? I believe it was limited to two transactions per user.

nope... just try do checkout , then code no good anymore. Ebay just ended earlier without notice. I wondering how many unaware of it.

i just tried to use the code and also got the message and noticed that they ended the offer early. should have received an email advising it was going to happen. nothing in terms and conditions stating there was a limited number. VERY WRONG - FALSO ADVERTISING EBAY!

You got that right! You can join the list of angry buyers. There's quite a few (me included) who are not happy at all. Those of us who didn't know the promotion had ended early, so went ahead and purchased. In the other thread, someone said if you ring eBay and complain, they will honour the discount. Could be worth a try.

They ended the promotion early, with "immediate effect" and changed the terms & conditions to reflect same. Ended as I was trying to check out - discount applied - fine and then paypal froze, went back to check out again and suddenly "no more funds available on this coupon" message.
No email notice, just a little small print message at top of opening page saying it had ended. Call to Ebay received response that 'concerned about customer experience... concerned about stock levels, etc etc etc' or in other words, promo was too successful. Emails and social media messages from merchants still appearing promoting offer.
Yet another lousy Ebay customer service effort. Such an arrogant virtual monopoly now in this sector.

give them a ring and say you have already brought bla and bla ,you have nothing to loose. but if you read terms and co you will prob find an out clause in it, in the lines of we can cancel any order or this program da da da or what ever. i have not seen it but i am sure some of you guys have read it all , or can post it here if its not too long.

Joe, in the past some offers contain clauses about the offer being limited to $xxxx or a certain number of ebayers using it, but this one had no such out...just the number of times the offer could be uses (2) and the amount of discount on each invoice ($300).

Yep, thats #18... and ebay can get more 10% fees. Ebay should cancel all transaction that ended today or all buyers should request cancel transactions .
