purchased an item last month, after 13 days i contacted the seller......seller says it was posted on 29th Jan. I never received the item
so contacted 3 more times took him ages to reply to me. after all that he tells me that the item was returned as the address dosent exist. load of bullcrap as i receieved purchases from Ebay atleast once a week to my home addy plus ive lived here many years and never once had a problem with mail being delivered?!!
was rude about it all, asked me for a clearer address, a house number, street and suburb, postcode is surely clear enough!
seller hasnt even contacted me back. i sent email today requesting a tracking number as aust post said every parcel has one...
all this for just a product tyat cost me $6!! does it sound dodgy to you? seller is a top rated seller with a few neutrals...
thanks

Sounds like the item was returned to sender.
Are you SURE that your address is correct? I have had buyers transpose digits in their postcode, state they live in a suburb they don't (assuming the street address is correct).
I would be confirming my address with them. After doing a google on my address to ensure that it is what Australia Post think it is.

Also just possible that the seller made an error when addressing your parcel.

Over the years I have had a handful of parcels returned to me which were correctly addressed but Australia Post claimed the address didn't exist.
Each time I contacted the buyer to clarify the address details and resent the parcel which was safely delivered the next time.
Australia Post do mess up at times so it may not necessarily be the sellers fault.

Firstly was the item worth more than $6,and if so then the seller probably wasn't too happy about selling it for that amount and then has pretended like they posted the item,I have dealt with a few sellers that have done this in the past saying they posted but never did and blamed AP,I am just speculating about this theory as its happened to me but this may or may not be the situation you're in.

Did you think you might of been a bit impatient?
2 threads and several demanding emails later and where has it got you?
Some sellers dont like pushy buyers, they do have a life outside of Ebay.
Anyway have you opened a dispute for an item not received?
You had better hurry as you are running out of time.

i dont think the OP was impatient, did you read her post, she bought the item last month and seller says it was posted on 29th Jan....that well over 1 month ago so i think the buyer has every right to know what happened to the parcel

Yes I do think she is being impatient
She paid for the item waited 2 weeks then started posting on the discussion boards about it.
When all she had to was wait, if it didnt arrive send one email, no response to her email open up a Item Not Received dispute.
Instead she has made demands from the seller over a $6 item (tracking really?)
She even ask's if the seller can write english.
When a polite email advising them that the item was not delivered and she would be opening a dispute would of had better results for her.
