Hello I purchased a camera from overseas and it was dead on arrival, eBay encouraged me to return it and pay the $360 freight to send it back. I did all of this on time because we are dealing with an amount of around $5000, I tried to entre the DHL tracking into the eBay form and as I suspected it did not work. I contacted customer support and the guy said dont worry I will do it manually, I then tested the tracking myself and yes it worked so I sent a screen shot to eBay showing it worked. I also sent this to the customer all good I thought. Then eBay suddenly disconnected me from contacting customer support before the allocated time limit was up. Now today the closed the return case over the weekend. Now I have sent the $5000 camera back, eBay will not reimburs me for the freight and will not help me get my money back. I have all the copies and proof that ebay screwed up, I have no choice now but to take action to retrieve my money. I am a 100% feedback high rated buyer and seller. So if eBay treat me like this what are they doing to others.

Hahahaha that's right I am a pest and for good reason as many members can vouch for that.

Being a pest is hard work - constantly on call in case another plague is needed to convince a Pharaoh to let the people go.

Hello I still can't get any eBay help they have a case outcome which they say seller agreed to return the money, but they have closed the case and will not help eventhough I did everything correctly. and sent it back on time. The seller has stalled on the delivery saying he was not there and not abel to pick it up. Now they are saying the have to get the Mamiya service centre in Canada to look at it first before they decide to give the money back. I have tried to get eBay to call me back and the message is we are closed even though by me going on EST it should be open. eBay need to help with this. The camera was dead on arrival as per all of the customer seller messages. I thought I would complain to the Ombudsman service about eBay stalling on my case. Or going to my bank and instigating a chargeback. I have a video of the camera not working I have pictures to show it was all in perfect condition. If I ever need help its now please.

Can you please clarify what you're saying,have you received the $5000 refund that you paid for the camera and you just want the postage refund?

When you ask ebay to call you the system is working on daylight savings time.....ebay Australia works on Sydney time.
