Buyers beware
Open your dvds asap even if your giving them as presents,
Unfortuneately, i missed the 45 days and now ebay are unable to help. Go to the seller direct they say.
Seller denys there is a problem even though the dvd is sealed.
Won't allow me to prove the dvds are fake and wont take responsibility.
Karma is a wonderful thing

ok i should start from beginning
I didnt open the dvd in october because i was giving it as a christmas pressy to my sister. I guess when you see someone with 100% feedback you believe they are good ebayers. When it was finally opened there was 5 discs and not 6.
There is a space for a dvd (but no clip to keep it in) on back sleeve plus the written contents only lists 5 episodes. When it came to play the 5th dvd it was blurry and it wouldnt move after a few mins. The quality of the other discs are ok but when i look at a real one there is a difference.
i told ebay about it and they told me to ring the seller. I called and was completely nice and the male that answers was rude to me and wouldnt tell me anything about the seller. I finally got a message back from the seller via ebay messages and she more or less told me i was wrong and that the dvd was sealed so i would have to contact manufacturer.
I asked her at least 4 times who she got it from and she didnt tell me. i also said that she might of gotten ripped off herself, but she wouldnt have a bar of it being fake. HOW CAN SHE SAY ITS NOT FAKE IF IT WAS SEALED?
If you were a decent human being you would try your hardest to sort it out right????
She kept saying i wrecked the dvd and was prepared to give me $6.oo back when the whole thing cost me $30.00.
THEN she said "I work in a legal firm and i am getting advise about it"
She was just so rude to me and told me i obviously dont work because i am hassling her ABOUT A $30.00 DVD???????
Even if its over the 45 days and ebay said they will monitor her.......i know nothing will happen

,
in the above post i started from the beginning as to what happened plus added pics
I guess if you have nothing to hide, theres nothing to worry about helping to solve this eh?
it shouldnt be about the time lapse, its about selling something thats not real

She sounds like a nasty bit of work who didn't like being taken to task. So what if she works in a legal firm, what's that going to achieve? Why would she need legal advice over a $30 DVD unless she KNEW if was fake to begin with and is now at risk of being found out?
I bought something off eBay last weekend for my husbands little Grand daughter as they are coming to visit next weekend. The item arrived in 2 days, but I haven't left feedback yet as I'm waiting for my stepson to open it to make sure it's all complete. I can't see any reason why it wouldn't be, but not taking any chances. I know that wasn't possible for you though, doing your Christmas shopping early. By the time you gave it to your sister, the time for feedback would have passed.

perhaps you should contact the distributor of these dvds telling them you were sold fake dvds. i'm sure they would want to know who is selling fake dvds. and saying the dvds were sealed isnt a defence on selling counterfit or pirated dvds.

thanks I will keep that in mind
