OK I bid and won this item for 99c brand new jacket. Now I just got a message of the seller like this

can't seem to find the jacket 😕 unless i have sold it b4 and forgot. would you still like me to keep looking or refund you the money? sorry for the mix up

What do I do I said I would like what I paid for please. But what are my options? I have to take a refund because she's lost it?

Tell her it's hanging on the back of a door.

I wouldn't take a refund i'd insist on getting what you paid for.

I would get her to look for it and not leave feedback until near the 60 day deadline to see if she relists it.

I feel she may want more than 99 cents for it.

If she does relist, straight neg on her account.

I would have sent it at 99 cents if u look at my other buyers they got there's at 99 cents I just honestly can't find it. But than you for your feedback, if I ever find it I'll send it free of charge. A thank you have a good weekend.

So i now contacted ebay to say it was unfair that a seller can list and item that has been lost if it had been lost before sale ended she should of cancled the listing. Oh well i just had when you find a good deal and it ended up smacking you in the face 🙂

Sounds to me like she has genuinely misplaced it.

Move on and find another bargain. Contacting ebay over it was a bit over the top.

For a newbie seller I would just have let it go with telling her the next buyer may not be as understanding. As for not being able to find an item I am sure it has happened to most sellers sooner or later, it has certainly happened to me.

It is hard to say if she genuinely lost it or not but I can quite understand that a seller, if they were to misplace it, might not realise that till they went to collect it to post after a sale. It could happen.
