Hi 

I posted a bid for an iPhone XS Max .. my bid was $850

i can't find any trace of this ..have not  had any feed back.. can you help please?

When did / does the auction end?

Have you checked the listing to see if you have been outbid?  (there is not always an email telling you so)

Have you checked under bids/offers under 'My eBay' ?

If you placed your bid during "happy hour" (the last few seconds of the auction) your bid may not even have registered, as someone might have outbid your maximum just before yours got through.

Hi there. I once bid on an item. It was an electrical book. I was certain I bid on it and remembered doing so. When the auction ended I went back and no record of it and nothing in my "won items". Nothing in the item's bidding history either! I have no idea to this day what had happened. I have been told by others that this scenario is unlikely but I just don't know.

Best you can do is look in completed items for that auction or in your watch list and see if you can see the record of the auction. Check the bidding history and see if your bid is in there. If there's nothing then your bid didn't register for whatever reason.

Sometimes eBay remove an item before the auction ends.

Often there won't be a trace of it.
