I bought a dress for my grand-daughter on Oct. 23rd 2012 with delivery time 15 - 25 days. It did not arrive until Jan. 2013 - too late for her formal, and to add insult to injury, too late for Christmas. Seller made all kinds of promises, including refund of $20, but nothing. The dress actually arrived too late for me to be able to leave feedback and since this time, all emails have been unanswered. I now have another item that is up to seven weeks and still has not arrived and am at the stage where I think that something should be done. I am at the stage where I am thinking about not using ebay. I did report this but have not had a reply as yet.
Fed up.

Thanks guys for the input. And yes, I will read up on buyer protection and not get sucked in with the "just a few more days" line. This has taught me not to be so trusting. I will also get onto ebay again if I still have not had a reply in the next couple of days, as it has been about 3 weeks with no feedback. I think I was more peeved because in my tiny brain, I worked out that the "few more days" was more so that I could not leave the feedback that they deserved. And I do remember once being guided on how to leave late feedback, but could not find it. I use ebay a lot, as I have 3 grandchildren living with me so it is easier to get their necessities on ebay, but I will be wary of listings that are 15 - 25 days in the future.
So thank you all, for your input - I have slapped myself on the wrist and will be more on the ball in the future.
But, I have to ask - does anyone else have problems finding the right areas in ebay, or is it just me lol?
Freespirit.

Freespirit, if in doubt about anything scroll to the bottom of the page and hit "Site Map". If you cannot find the information there then come to the boards. There is usually someone here who can help.

If you paid for your items with a credit card attached to Paypal you may still be able to initiate a chargeback with your card provider.
