 quite a few listed (17 at this point in time) by same seller. This stuff legal ? I would of thought not ?

I'm not sure what the point of buying seeds would be if you're not allowed to grow it. It's not like you can smoke the seeds!

My brothers ex girlfriend is a plant pathologist. She used to grow all manner of plants to see if some diseases happened naturally and would also infect plants while she was still studying. Once she was finished with healthy plants she'd give them away to friends and family. My brother ended up with a lovely big tobacco plant! Nice looking plant it was too.

He's smoked his whole life, both legal and illegal stuff and decided he would harvest it, dry it out and smoke it. He said it was absolutely ghastly! I'm guessing he was probably just used to all the chemicals in shop bought smokes, so straight tobacco tasted not right. I think in the end he gave some to his mates and chucked the rest out.

I was given some years ago Tippy and I thought at the time oily rags from the man-cave might well have been more easily smoked and tasted better.

And that is why there are over three hundred chemicals in tailor made cigarettes because natural tobacco is horrible.
I bet there wouldn't be a single copper in Australia that could identify a tobacco plant so it would be very easy to grow your own.

I would like to know how the Australian Government can legally continue to push the price of cigarettes up and lustify it by saying it's to reduce the burden on the public health system. Their statistics (which are manufactured by the Cancer Council) suggest that smoking is the lead cause of burden on the health system. Heart disease associated with being overweight and poor diet is the leading burden on the Health system. You dont see the government departments pushing the price of fast food through the roof. WHY?

I am a 72 year old man who has been smoking since I was 16. At the time Cigarette adviertising (which was endorsed by the government at that time) was everywhere. Doctors were advertising cigarettes in the day. My question is: How can the government legally continue increasing the price of cigarettes when they were endorsing smoking back in the day. It is just wrong. 

I understand wanting to stop young people from taking up the habit, but long term smokers should not be punished for doing something that was advertised and endorsed by the government when we started. The government needs to stop treating smokers so poorly.

SMOKING IS THE ONLY PRODUCT THAT, WHEN USED AS DIRECTED, CAUSES DEATH.

Sorry, but you get zero sympathy from me for rising cigarette prices regardless of your age or the circumstances upon which you started to kill yourself through smoking.

just out of curiosity, how did the government endorse smoking?

I understand that they profited from smokers, but I’m not sure they endorsed it . . . but what would I know as I am a lifelong non-smoker approaching 60.

Please note - I am not an anti-smoker . . . I am a believer in people taking responsibility for their actions and choices in life.  Smokes are legally sold, and people can buy them and smoke them.  I have no problem with that.  What I have a problem with is people who expect others to foot the bill for their poor choices that cause significant cost to the health system.
