Sorry, I am the first to complain if others don't post pictures and now I am doing it myself. Will get a picture in the morning and put them on tomorrow. Actually it is just a bit different, it is a koala on a tree stump, but it is in 2 pieces. Think about that one.

Please tell me the salt doesn't come out of the koala's bum, or something like that 😮

Good news Wilma, cannot imagine where the salt comes out hahaha

With a bit of luck I have posted a couple of pictures of my new, very expensive sat and pepper shakers. Haven't seen a pair like this previously and while I don't actually collect them, the shelves are getting quite overcrowded.

Cute!
I'm very relieved to see where the holes are :^O

I also thought they were cute and the price was right. They fit the collection quite nicely and only take up half the space of a regular set.;-)

been a while since I posted / chatted things here are going from bad to worse rapidly and I'm only just holding it all together.
moved from our large house to a unit to make things easier for Vic to get around but that didn't last long, and after his last Radiotherapy he deteriorated further, resulting in a couple of hospital stays, and then home with a 4-wheeler to assist with his walking from room to room (hardly possible to go out as he only manages very short distances).
Unfortunately he then had a few nasty falls, and is now in the Complex Care Unit at Wantirna, awaiting a high care Nursing HOme bed... easy to say, not so easy to find.
Added to that, my 91yr old Mum passed away when Vic was in one of his hospital visits, (October 30)..
my stress levels have gone thru the roof and back again, still holding up, but will be relieved when we sort out a place / the financials (a nightmare!!! OMG some of the nicer places want so much in 'Accommodation Bonds' .. which return me ZERO interest!
and at 64.2mnths I'm still 4mnths off being of Aged Pension age!!
not fair when I started work at 17 I was told I could retire at 60 not 64.5 ......
Oh well, I know everything will sort itself out eventually, and my son and dil were here from Sydney for the weekend, that helped.
so.... I read the boards occasionally, but havent been commenting a lot... hugs to all my old friends here.. Lyndelx

Lyndel I am sorry you are doing it so tough. Losing your Mum must have been heartbreaking, it doesen't matter how od we are.
Finding a place for Vic shouldn't be so hard either, I hope you sort it out sooner rather than later. I know how you feel about the pension, I cannot get the aged pension for another 5 years, it's not right when you have wrecked your body, being a carer, and cannot work.
Just take it one day at a time, you will get there.
