My heart goes out to their families.

Tas, if I may....How is it that you refer to rabbitearbandicoot as Mr Poddy?
Very confusing as there is poddster. I have noticed this before.
Am I missing something?

Ooops, wrong poster, I should have addressed that to Mr. Rabbitearbandicoot ....
Apologies xx
Either way though, thank you to anyone who did that for a child .....

No Stawks, they are two different posters xx
I haven't seen them mixed up before.
Just mixed them up because I am working, and was reading posts from both Mr. Poddster and Mr. Rabbitearbandicoot at the same time. My mistake xx

that's very easy to say. I thought I was doing the right thing one day at the local shopping centre - this littley came running out of the shop and straight into traffic in the car park. I was having coffee outside - got up and ran over, picked the little tacker up, turned around to see the mother bearing down on me like I was going to take the boy. Looked at me hatefully and accusingly!! There was no 'thankyou' - she grabbed / snatched the boy from me and turned on her heel and stormed away.
note I said I would be asking them questions, not picking them up. I would only pick child up if it was in immediate danger. like sitting in middle of the road.
Mind you, some people just do not give a bleep. Some years ago, at dusk, just as I turned a corner there was a small child about 3 sitting in middle of the road, and I only just managed to slam on my breaks. I dragged her on the footpath, and she told that she lives in the next house, but refused to come with me. So I went to talk to her parents; as i approched I could see the mother watching TV. When I told her that the girl was sitting on the road the mother said: " I get my husband when he gets home to get her" and slammed the door in my face. She did sort of look over my shoulder to see where the child was though.
