I posted the PM's dept released 28 citizens (one of those a dual citizen) and 8 permanent residents (as shown in  the link in my previous post). If you have updated information and a link from the PM's dept please post it. It is not unreasonable to expect the figures to change as more details are forwarded.

I don't know why you are fixated on visa holders. If they travelled on a, for example, Chinese passport, they will be counted on China's list of deceased citizens, if they had a French passport, they will be on France's list of deceased citizens.

Austalian with eligibility for one passport an Australian one - Australian Citizen

Austration dual citizenship ( eligible for Australian passport and one other country)  - Australian Citizen

Person who is a permanent resident of Australia - passport issued by another country - permanent resident

Visa holders - obviously not a citizen nor a permanent resident. Citizen of whatever country their passport was issued by.

Immigration/citizenship regulations.. no conspiracy.

Regardless of what role these people with guns play in their own war, the people on that plane played no role, nor do their families, therefore there should be no reason for them not to be treated with dignity and sent home.
