Well Mr Hockey by the time the states introduce new taxes and consider putting up GST, by the time we pay more for petrol, doctors and medication let alone all the other cost  flowing from that some of us may end up homeless or choosing between food or meds.

Seriously mate you are out of touch with reality.  I'll do you a deal since you care so much, you come and live on my carer pension and I'll live it up on your allowances for a year.  And I'll make sure that I cut your payment by at least half so we can save the country!

I've never smoked and only have a rare social drink, but for people who have already given up both because they can't afford them, there is nothing left to go without when they need a visit to the doctor. Still, I'm sure Joe will start feeling the pinch when he loses 2% of any income above $180000...
