A thought of the day foe those of us looking down the barrel of old age

The media seems to when intervewing the elderly to ask the question what do you atribute your old age to

with varous responces such as I never drink alcohoi or dont smoke  no sex  god  my faith etc etc

however the answer I found to be possibly the better choice was simply

you wake up the next morning and go to sleep that night  and keep doing it and you will achieve old age

If at any time you fail to do this old age will become unachievable however thankfully I have managed to do this

defying some of the medical profesions predictions a couple of times so peoples what are your thoughts on this

I am not trying to belittle any bodys vews here or whatever this is just my own thoughts on this subject from

a grumpy old f*t

Continuous breathing (I haven't stopped once in 73 years)  seems to be working for me.

My grandmother, when she was interviewed on her 100th birthday, told the reporter the secret to her great age was "if you just keep breathing it just happens"

I think George Burns had it pretty well pegged. When he was in his 90s a young relative was telling him about some great new investment opportunity and urging him to put money in it, and George said "Son, at my age I don't even invest in green bananas."
