AFLW pride match shows LGBTI players and fans this is a game for all
whilst im glad we now have same sex marriage and all that goes along with that
are we now to be reading stories that must be about LGBTI and not just about sport?
who gives a * if a girl playing is gay or whatever?
we dont get stories of guys calling out to male players 'marry me gazza'
i'm getting anoyed by the constant ramming down my throat that some of the women sports stars are lesbians.
why does it matter?
during a post match interview of one of the girls cricket matches we had to have the 'we heard you just asked your partner to marry you'
the partner of course being another girl.
whats that got to do with the game we just watched, her personal life should be just that, personal!

Agreed, David. I don't care what their preferences are, and it should make no difference.
How many commentators have pointed out the fact that a player (in any game)
is heterosexual?
I'd be guessing - never.

Thank you David - needed that laugh.
' marry me gazza '.

Obviously nothing to do with football but shove it down your throat anyway seems to be the go.
Now all they need is a few gender changers by ones that weren't good enough to play as a bloke to really
keep it in the "headlines".
I've only watched portions of games as it's just boring to me and call the game fumblebums as that seems to
be the main part of their play head down,B up and fumbling the ball.

i like watching the womens footy (AFLW) and womens cricket
just leave the who is and who isnt what preference in partners out of it
i want the sport, thats all
its almost like they are saying 'well ya have to be a bit butch to play a mans game'
no ya dont, ya just need to be a good sports person.

yeah, the new wave stand up comediens seem to feel the audience needs to know their sexual preferences.
as if the audience couldnt figure it out.
about as subtle as a sledgehammer these days are comediens

Well thats a new one....I actually agree with every single word on the thread. What really concerns me though is that the LGBTIXYZ community want equality and to be accepted. Fair enough, I suspect thats already happening in most places. The only ones who KEEP ON DRONING ON about any differences is the people in the LGBTI etc. community. Just shut up and get on with it and you will find the rest of us couldnt give a flying fig what you do in your private lives.

the media are not helping with constantly going off script to dig into the personal lives of sports people
we dont need to know, ok
